Outseason (Run Focused) week 14 bike test

tomorrow i am supposed to do my bike test at the end of the OS Run Focus and am not sure what I would want to see if I've impoved? I am going off HR. Do I want to see my average max HR for those 20 min go up or down from when I did it at the beginning of my training program 5 weeks ago?

  • @Jeff Green - I think a better metric would be how many miles you cover in 20 minutes and your average mph. If you cover more distance than your first test, it means your power output is higher. 
  •  Derek is 100% right. So we’re looking at Delta in terms of distance covered and possibly even average cadence depending on the data that you can gather. Good luck!
