Daniel Ballin Official Coaching Thread
Here's your updated Season Plan, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is my best outline of how to proceed with your races, but you can ask any / all questions you want. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.

Coach Notes
DB, great to have you back. Given where you are at with volume and frequency, i'd like to have you go ahead and do the OutSeason Plan as a means of building strength and consistency. You can follow the L1 (BEG) or L2 (INT) workouts as you see fit, and can get started right away. No real need to be swimming much now, but if you want to we can keep it rolling.
I am much more interested in getting you into a pattern of doing 18-20 miles per week...and by the end of the OS in May you are closer to 24 MPW. Here's a recommended build pattern for you:
- March = 16, 18 mpw
- April = 18, 20, 22, 20
- May = 24, 24, 24
Let's get to work!
