Zwift Sunday Team Sprint and KOM Jersey Hunt Ride
For over a year now, Endurance Nation has had a team ride in Zwift on Sunday morning. The ride that starts at 8:00 EST has been known of as the Sunday ABP ride. Amazingly, West Coast EN always represents well at 5:00 PST! This has become my favorite ride of the week, because I get to engage in hilarious conversation with my teammates and friends while pushing myself harder than I ever would on my own.
There is a lot about the original ride including instructions and tips regarding Zwift posted here.
The ride has evolved over the past year. It is no longer a traditional ABP ride, however it is a ride that will make you a stronger cyclist over time. We are still doing either Watopia Figure 8 or London Pretzel (I don't think they had Pretzel when we first started). The big difference is we ride steady (for most a tad under Z3) except when there is a KOM or a Sprint. The team works together to push each other to try to win either the Green Jersey for the Sprints or the Polka Dots Jersey for the KOMs.
See last weeks collection with @JeremyBehler and @Jenn Edwards grabbing most of the jerseys. It was Easter / April Fools, so we had these funny bikes with newspaper baskets. You see a lot of TeamEN in the leader board to the left.
You can also see ^^ from my power graph, there was a lot of Z4 work (orange and yellow) during a previous KOM (left side) and then a Z6 effort (right side) during the sprint we had just completed. You can see a lot of Z1 (gray) and Z2 (blue) between the hard efforts.
I thought I would post this, because there are a lot of new Endurance Nation members who may not know about this ride. Also, there may be some that are not new but forgot about the ride.
It looks like this Sunday the course will be London, so we will do London Pretzel at 8:00 EST. We soft pedal to the start banner and start when we say go in Discord. Check here for instructions for Discord.
Hope to see you Sunday!

Thanks for the reminder Brian,
I haven't joined the group in a while. I'll try to get myself moving early this Sunday.
Signed, your tech challenged teammate!

Being 146#, I usually ride in Zwift @ 66kg, but for the Sun AM ride, I go about 54kg and drop my height to 154 cm from 175. Here's a link to the Zwiftrpower EN Team page, where you can see the A team's weight and FTP to help in the calculator:

And/Or you could join me Sat AM for my final indoor ABP ride of the season, doing 2 laps of the London course "Triple Loops" starting @ 0700 PDT/1000 EDT. I'll be at my real weight then, going about 2.8-3.0 w/kg. Except harder up the long hills...
