Recovering from Surgery - Should i use post workout recovery drink?

Hi, meniscus surgery 3 weeks ago. Going to PT twice a week, strength program 4 days a week and just completed Week 6 of training for IMLP 140.6
What type of nutrition should I take post strength training, if anything at all? I am not taking anything right now but wondering if I should be fueling with something to help the repair and strengthening of muscles.
Typically only take water for workouts that are an hour.
