2019 IMLP and IMWI?
I've taken this year completely off and I'm gad I did. Been focusing on strength training and some biking. Haven't ran or swam since last September, although, I do love stair workouts. Anyway, I'm going all in next year and thought about doing IMLP and IMWI
I reached out to the IMLP folks and they are telling me next years race will be July 21st and I'm assuming IMWI will be on Sept 8th so that is 7 weeks between races. Is this enough recovery? Am I dumb?
By way of background, I've done IMWI 2x and 4 HIM's as well as many oly's. I'm a strong swimmer, decent cyclist and slow runner. Logistically, IMWI just works: 3hrs from home and kids schedule so IMLOU or IMCHATT are out
Any thoughts would be appreciated

See the thread below for some good discussion around close IM races to add to the wiki article Al posted. As Paul mentioned you will have a little extra time between races and more than what some recommend as optimal. Also note these are some of the strongest athletes here at EN in that discussion.

in 2016 I did IMLP / Leadville MTB 100 / IMWI (all in a 7 week span)
doing Leadville between the two was a mistake, I thought it would be a good long arse day in the saddle to bump me up for IMWI.. bad decision.
If you follow @Coach Patrick's instructions that you should seek right after IMLP, you will recover and float through to an awesome IM-Moo - trust in it!
@ Paul Curtin - no real goals or intentions. As simple as it sounds, I'm doing it cause I can.
