training plan update
I was on pace to complete my 12 IM's for the Legacy program with IMLOU, but do to the complications at IMBoulder and the unfortunate DNF, I was then faced with a new challenge. IMLOU now became #11 leaving me 1 short, so I have signed up for IMFL to make it to 12 this year. That only leaves me 3 weeks between races. Training for IMLOU has gone fairly well, and I feel I am in the best shape I've been in for quite some time. This will be my 4th time doing the full and I think five 70.3's at Florida, so I'm very familiar with the race. I feel Florida is fairly easy, if you can consider any IM easy. I need to know what training I need to do to be best prepared during that 3 week period. Thanks

fantastic. I like the plan to make it to 12. We have lots of good guidance on how to make the transition. The key is that you take five entire days off after Louisville. Then Saturday is an easy 30 minute spin. Sunday is an easy 90 minutes been. And then Monday we put in a good two hour ride with us on the half iron ever it’s just to wake your body up.
you could always take Monday off and then do that harder session on Tuesday but that workout will help you turn the corner in terms of averting complete recovery mode. The key is that you do not need to really run at all between the races to protect your legs. Let’s plan on talking for sure either in Taper week for Louisville or right afterwards.
