Swim's cancelled. How do i approach this?
I just learned last night that the swim at Augusta 70.3 has been cancelled and replaced with a 5K run making it a duathlon. How do I approach this first run as to pacing nutrition etc?
By the way, I took 5 min. off my Oly P.R. last week.

Pace should be Do no harm.Β I run my HIM pace close to my HM pace(z3) and I would run my 5k pre bike somewhere between z2 and TRP.Β I wouldn't want to burn any Β matches but want to still "race".Β trying to squeeze out an extra minute or two here could be costly.Β Nutrition would only change if you do something different before a run versus a swim.Β
