Resources for effective learning of basic deraileur adjustment?
I have some kind of unnamed learning impediment where no matter how many times I am taught to adjust a rear derailleur, my brain refuses to absorb it, and blocks it out. I think I might call it Tallo's Syndrome.
Can anyone recommend a good teaching source? Or youtube channel? Or book? I have followed the step-by-step in Zinn, but I still don't get it, and the top hits I'm getting with my youtube searches aren't particularly great.
Any pointers? (My solution to the same problem with the front derailleur has been to go 1X).

I share your ineptitude and wish I could help - I broke down and got electronic shifting as it is almost self correcting. Best advice I could offer.
@Daniel Ballin - haha. That's certainly a good way to solve the problem. The thing is ... I really like the IDEA of being mechanically self-reliant ... it's just the execution of it where it falls apart.
