Supplement for Women's IM training
Went to the doc last week just to get the green light for IM training and had asked about what if any supplements would be necessary to support the higher training volume/workload. He recommend regular multivitamin and also 1000 mg calcium with 500 mg Vit D. I remember there are 2-3 different types of calcium- carbonate, caltrate etc but can't remember which is the optimum one to take. I also take 400 mg Vit E after long rides/runs and 500 mg of Vit C. My iron levels etc have been checked and are currently normal. I eat fairly well- fruits, veggies and very little processed foods. Is there anything else I should consider? Don't advocate taking lots of supplements but fact of life that I simply can't get enough in through natural sources during training.
Thanks folks!

Good that your iron is normal. Do you eat meat ot other things that containe iron. I would make sure to watch that intake as you increase your volume.
Good luck with your training!!!
