Using Real-Life MTB Routes And Matching Elevation in Zwift.
Hi All:
Wasn't quite sure where to post this question. Figured I would post in here since this is where all you data geeks hang out. :-). You know who you are. :-)
I am planning a 100 mile MTB event this year. May be Leadville (lottery or charity entry). May be High Cascades 100 here in Bend, Oregon. May be the Park City Point-to-Point (though only 75 miles but 12k of climbing). Will make decision in late January.
My pain cave setup is a 2017 Wahoo Kickr and the new Wahoo Kickr Climb (see below). I can download the above course routes and convert to .zwo files and put into Zwift. That is easy.
My question:
Is there a way to modify the .zwo file so the elevation gains match (as closely as possible) the elevation changes on these courses from the course .gpx or .tcx files I have downloaded?
The normal Zwift road routes are too much roadie elevation changes. Gradual and rolly.
The end result I want are punchy, quick climbs like you would have on those MTB courses. Lots of changes quickly. Ups and downs. Match the courses as closely as possible.
I have done a lot of research but can't find the answer. Again, think MTB riding. Not roadie.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Think I found a way on Bkool.
Peace out!
@John Stark Interested in how you "download the coarse files and convert to .zwo files & put into Zwift" & what you found about the elevation.
FYI: I'm planning to ride a couple of 100 mile MTB races this summer/fall as well as Leadville (If I win the lottery).
Thanks
@Mark Stahlkopf - Download the .gpx file from Strava, Map My Ride, wherever and convert to .zwo here: https://whatsonzwift.com/gpx-to-zwift-workout/#step2. Then add to the Zwift/Workouts/{account#} folder.
Just like structured workouts, the Zwift avatar may be going up and down grades but it won't match what you are riding.
I haven't had a chance to do a deep dive yet, but it looks like Rouvy and Bkool have a way to make the elevation more MTB friendly. And from what I can tell, yo can also video your ride and upload it with GPS data then ride the route again watching your own video and the elevation change match within these apps.
It is winter here so the trails are snowy. But will start tinkering with these after JOS starts at lower elevations.
