NOV OS Run Week 11

Sorry for the late post. It's been a busy week at work and long hours to boot as well. We are into the downhill slide of this Outseason. I can definitely tell a difference in my run this time around. And the bike is better too. Keep up the good work everyone. Next thing you know it will be race season. Have a great week!!

  • wowzers, legz still fried from my skimo race on saturday.. been having trouble restarting the bike and run. went out to run this afternoon and was majorly fatigued... slow.. can tell by cadence how tough it was. It was only 4 miles. eeek

  • @scott dinhofer are you using a Normatec for recovery? This helps me out so much after my long runs and long bike sessions.

  • Tues: Just did short 1 mi brick after tough bike session

    Wed: Been having good success with the Zn 4 work so did 2x1mi @ Zn 4, cut a little short right IT band felt a little tight. Dealt with this before, responds well to rolling & KT tape.

    Fri: Short swim/run brick, just 2 mi @ TRP to keep run frequency up.

    The running is doing well this OS.

  • Sat. Did a short 2 mi brick run after bike.

    Sun. 1 hr cruise/crush bike. TM run little slow, ended up being 40' Zn1, 20' TRP, and 10' Zn 2, still got in a neg split run.

  • I have moved my long runs to Sunday instead of Saturday. Ran 11.33 miles in 100 min. I was really hoping for 12 miles but just wasn't feeling it today.
