NOV OS Run Week 12

Well here we are at week 12! My workouts have been going well this week with a 3 sec faster average on my swim workout on Monday. I had to skip my run on the brick due to the weather and life happenings. The long run ended up being 11.33 miles. I was hoping to make it to 12 miles on the 100 min run but I just wasn't feeling it. Oh well maybe next weekend I can crush it. Tomorrow's long run is 90 min. Just a nice and easy pace. Hopefully with all the snow around the country is hasn't kept you from being outside to get your run completed. Have a great rest of the week! Work hard! The end of the Outseason is almost upon us!

  • Felt like I was making good progress on my run with the 3x1mi zn4 sets, so I planned to continue with them the last few weeks of the OS. This morning did 1 mile @ zn4, and the other 2 at zn3. Not sure if I was having an off morning, or am having a little too much threshold work. See how I feel over the next few wko's.

  • @Mark Lane sometimes we just have to listen to our bodies and do the best we can. Good job this morning. Going after the 90 min run this morning......

  • couldnt agree more on listening to our bodies. I have a hip issue going on, seeing doc today, oddly I keep trying to run and it works fine.. In fact, after Monday's 7 1/2 miler it felt better. Did 8.6 last night, but missed a run on Tuesday. keeping up with the bike. Trying to get a Vasa session and run tonight before heading to CO for a long ski weekend.

  • Anyone in the NYC area have an end of the OS HM or 10k planned?  I can't find one.
