I'm in my 5th week of the run durability program via the final surge.
I've seen dramatic improvements by following the guidance given. When I completed IM AZ, I was in that black hole for a runner "way to slow and steady" Using the HIIT method, we re learn what is means to go faster and turn on those "fast twitch muscles, at the same time improving endurance and confidence.
It does take discipline to push one self. Very well worth it.

The RP is ''boring'' but you will definitely see progress. I am so happy I did the 3 RDP levels before getting on the 50 mile run plan to have a good basis.
