Nov OS Run 2018 - Week 14!!
Wow! Are we really here? It's been an unbelievable journey of OutSeason training for this year! Filled with lots of PR's but more importantly it's been a time of learning more about myself and how to push myself. I have a 15k trail run scheduled for this Saturday since there is no half marathon close by. If you were able to swim during this time then kudos to you! After this week you will start your race program and progress from there. I'm looking at Chatty 70.3 in May and a sprint or 2 along the way. I don't know what the rest of the season holds but I will give it my best. I hope you have enjoyed this OutSeason as much as I have. I hope you all have a great race season in 2019! Cheers!

this would be a great place to post our events for the coming year!
I am trying to revive the daily run as I fell in a funk the last two weeks with a hip issue, seems to have dissipated... will be doing another 4 weeks of OS work per Coach P & then ramping up for Ironman Lake Placid in July.
IM Lake Placid would be awesome! I'm looking at doing IM Boulder and IM Lake Placid next year. Are those too close together to do @scott dinhofer ?
@Keith Shireman Check out this wiki article:

@Keith Shireman - this would be a great topic for a post in "Race Selections & Reviews" forum.
I've done doubles in a few years. I am curious about Coach Ps short gap between doubles. 7 Weeks is a good one... that said, I am now thinking about a common theme and observations from my own effort on this that can make for good discussion. start that thread!
@scott dinhofer thread started!! Thank you @Al Truscott for the post on this topic.
Great end to the Outseason for me yesterday! I ran the River Trail 15k race and PR'd ! PR'd the 10k portion and 15k portion! Stared the race at a 7:40 pace, dropped to a 8:13 at the half way point and came back to a 7:30 pace on the last mile. Ended up with an 8:01 OA pace. 1:15:20 was good enough for a 3rd place AG 50-54 group. 63rd of 289 runners, 3rd of 14 in AG. Super pumped on this run and a great end to the Outseason!
Strong work @Keith Shireman
Thank you @Al Truscott
@KeithShireman thanks for leading us through the OS.
Spent half the last week with a case of food poisoning, no testing for me. Better now.
Sorry to hear that @Mark Lane Glad that your better now. Stay hydrated and slowing build back to where you need to be. I enjoyed being your Run Captain these 14 weeks!
