Thought I'd start getting involved with weight-loss again considering I'm up 10lbs on my February weigh-in! My overall body-comp has changed - moving from cycling only to Tri has started to build up my shoulders, lats & chest (I'm one of those types that only has to look at a bench-press to bulk up!) - still 'well-covered' in comparison to earlier this year however so no excuses! Eating good stuff, just too much of it!
So, 10lbs to lose - starting OS for 8 wks on Monday so getting back on it! See you's next wednesday!

down a tad - about a lb since last week... and at the lowest I'd been since my crash in the fall. So that's good. Still up from normal and race weights, but my goal is to be at race weight (another 6ish) by mid-Aug, when I enter my final 12 weeks before IMFL. Being eating mostly primal style since I got back from vaca a week and a half ago. So far so good. Giving grains wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I'm still trying to figure out breakfast... and wondering how pre-race carb loading will work... particularly as I re-enter hardcore training (doing a few weeks of late stage OS before jumping in at week 16 of IM training). I think all the farmers' markets and wonderful produce helps a lot... come fall this will be tough!
Keep it up!
"Hi David"
Was on vacation for the past 2 weeks. New York and then D.C. Though I ran every other day at least 5 miles I still gained 3 to 4 pounds. NY pizza and Five Guys burgers (and all my sons Five Guys fries, they rock!) in D.C. were my down fall. Wouldn't have changed a thing!
Back on the horse today.
