Went out at 10a to go up the hill 1x. No need to go nuts as I'm riding a lot this weekend through Wednesday, flying to WI on Thursday.
Results: 19:40, ~280w, compared 23:20 and low 24x watts on Wednesday night. This was "comfortably hard," not a TT effort, it's kinda hot out and I have zero heat acclimatization. Important thing is that I didn't want to shoot myself 7' up the hill like I did on Wednesday night.
So what's the verdict? Just a little rest needed? More Starbuks? Or have you been pre-viewing and taking advantage of the TDF Doping announcements?
Dunno. Cummulative lack of sleep? Tired? I didn't really feel like it. Dehydrated? Low glycogen? It was a significant wheels-off experience, glad it was temporary
