So glad I made the cut...#WhamVAMthankyou.....
I think I've only not ridden with one person on this list, Truly honored and excited for the epicness we will all share.. Hoping to bring my best watts & a reason to really focus on Bodycomp next year! I have a vision of how lean @Ian Kurth was at BRC 2 years ago, and that's my goal!!
@scott dinhofer - Yep. Big audacious events like this tend to be scary enough to motivate you to show up ready to get after it. This one qualifies. Really excited to ride with everyone!
Big audacious event....yep! Going to be fun!
I'm super excited to be a part of this! Fun seeing most of you at the phone conference tonight. I plugged what info I could into ride w/ GPS using the mile18 website above. I know it isn't much, but if anyone wants to quickly see a topographical representation of most of our planned route, here it is. This doesn't include the 2 mystery days, and I think I missed one side of a climb on the last day as well as possibly missing a couple other details here or there:
Bummed I missed to call! I haven't been on the forms much lately and didn't see anything final on that Doodle request. For future reference, how did I miss this! I'd love an update too.
Thanks for the map!
Tom
Oh, yeah. You missed the part where we assigned you to pace us all up the steep sections.
And who is my domestique to keep me stocked with food and water ? :)
so awesome!!!
I take great offense that you all are going to cycle in France without me. 😉
has anyone booked airfare on this yet?
Yes.
British Airways.
getting there june 19 in the morning. Geneva. staying in hotel near airport. Should have a chance to see a bit of Geneva.
leaving Nice june 28. 7:25 am.
I got mountain bike gearing on my road bike in prep for France... I'm doing Tour Das Hugel on the 9th (110 miles of the nastiest hills in Austin) to try it out... I might only do the first or second half of the 110 miles but if it feels good might do the whole thing...
anyone want to join me?
