Please critique my awful swim form

  • So hard to do but...

    1 - you are streching too hard (trying to be long) I can see your fingers tight and even pointing up (like you are straining).

    2 - you are pulling with your shoulders, not your back. need to start the catch when you are on your side; bigger muscles = faster. There are some good videos of dryland catch sensation drills you can do in the swim ebook (wiki somewhere).

  • Thanks Coach P. Will ref the Wiki and see what I can do. I am just getting back into the pool so hoping my decent fitness base will help me as I work on working on good swim form.
