NOS 2020 Run - Week 5 - Test Week
Its Test Week!!! Time to dust off those racing flats and see what you can do in a 5k or 10k. Are you ready to show off what those hill repeats/intervals have done for you? If you have signed up for a Turkey Trot don't forget to read the rules of the Turkey Trot Challenge and provide your estimate in the tracking sheet.
As a reminder if you are doing this you should bike test on Tuesday (after Monday off) and Wednesday between them can be very light spin or a short run or rest. Don't forget to come back here and brag on your new times!
Week 5:
- We stick with 4-5 runs per week dependent on which level you choose
- Test time pick a good course you can do again and prepare to give it all you can
- Long runs – everyone will do 65-80 minutes for a long run on the weekend
So what was your testing protocol, even pacing, negative split, or hold on for dear life. Most 5ks for me tend to be the later, with 10k and above a more even pacing/negative split method.

I am out of town for the holiday so no bike, therefore Run, Run,Run.
Same here, I am out of town starting tomorrow, so plan on doing a bit more run durability for the next week.
