NOS Bike Thread Week 7 - Halfway there!
So, lots of interest in Zwift in last week's thread. Carry that forward in whatever way moves you. I have been having some good sessions during the week with the structured workouts as per the OS plan and then going off-script for the weekend to do the team Hang on (I can't) and Cruise and Crush rides. So far, it is working pretty well for me. I hope to get back to racing on some weekday mornings but I find it hard to do that and do the structured OS workouts.
More VO2 intervals this week:
Tuesday intervals are 2 min at 120%
Thursday intervals are at 30 sec and 1 min at Max effort
Saturday long ride
I ended up doing Tomorrow's workout this PM. It went pretty well except that I had a bit of a fail at the end of the final interval.

6 x 2' for me. Solid this week. Pleased. The brick run off the bike felt good too.
Sufferfest Joyride: 3’, 2.5’, 2’,1.5’,1’ all at 120% FTP on 2’RI. Very hard work. Looking forward to shorter intervals later this week. Sticking to my run durability.
No Thursday ride for me due to emergency SAU account reconciliation. I was overdrawn.
So,it happened today and I did not die! Yay. The 30 sec intervals at 440 were OK but the last 2 of the 1 min at 410 were pretty challenging.
No more Bike this week due to travel so it is all about Run Durability till Tuesday.
@Ralph Moore : SAU victory for me last night! I’m cashing in with an OS big bike weekend... while maintaining my run durability, of course! Aiming for two longer rides with a lot of steady climbing toward that Tron Bike.
It sounds like everyone did a nice job on the weekday workouts. I'm signed up for my weekend Zwifting!
What is everyone doing for group rides for the NOS workouts Saturday? I see the west coast ride but 9-11 CT is a little late for my preference.
Anyone interested in a no drop group ride around 7am CT for around 2.5 hours (my NOS plan looks like a cruise and crush format)?
@PatKoss there have been meetup rides at several intervals throughout Sat. make sure you are on the Zwift Groupme channel and someone will announce what is coming up.
