Nominations for 2020 Wicked Smart Members (WSMs) now open...
New Wicked Smart Members
WSMs are TeamEN members athletes who’ve demonstrated extraordinary self-coaching knowledge, experience, and communication skills. You can see the current WSMs online under the Community Section here.
WSMs are nominated by their peers to be given the title of Wicked Smart Member, with the approval of Coach Patrick and input from our current WSMs. In short, any answer or input from a WSM should be given the same weight as an answer by Coach P…they are THAT good, as recognized by their peers.
We accept 1 to 2 folks a year, depending on their ability to commit and the current crop of members.
How to Nominate Someone by the 12/31 Deadline
- Make sure they aren't already a WSM! 🤣
- Post their name here in a Reply (up to 2 names) With a sentence as to why you nominate them.
- Read the other nominations and you can "Second" someone else's name (See example below).
- Get it done by 12/31/19 please!

I would like to nominate Tanya Trigeek to be WSM because she consistently leads from the front in the Forums cith her content and replies, and is relentlessly hard worker.
I second the nomination of Timmy Trigeek; he has really helped me offline in GroupMe, etc, to improve my race execution and to even choose a new bike!
Comments
Derrek Sanks - Consistently adds smart, thought out and well presented positive information to conversations, especially about running. Has incredible discipline and positivism.
That’s easy I second @Derrek Sanks
my nominations
@scott dinhofer A leader in EN interaction/engagement with Leading multi year OS, weight loss threads to name a few, not too mention providing a member lead EN camp.
@Peter Greagg Has demonstrated knowledge of EN training/racing principles and understanding/application of WKO and the newer scientific approaches.
Another vote for Derrek and Scott.
Is Matt L a WSM?
I second @Derrek Sanks Heck I thought he already was a WSM!
Yes for @scott dinhofer always contributing
Yes for @Peter Greagg has been on the team since 2010 and has analytical eye.
One more .... great attitude and motivating if he would be willing to share his knowledge in the forums and not just GroupMe @Tim Sullivan
I third or fourth @Derrek Sanks. He is always providing great help and suggestions in the chats as well as the forums. He gives great advice on training, racing and problem solving.
@Tim Sullivan for his knowledge with Zwift and racing and always trying new things. He also provides great feedback regarding ultra running.
I also agree with everything already said about @scott dinhofer and @Peter Carroll
Oops @Peter Greagg koi
1) Second Derrek S.
2) Second Scott D.
3) Second Tim Sullivan - has really brought EN into the Digital age (which you must embrace to be successful) via his leadership and support leading in Zwift. He is also, in terms of a team mate very kind, humble supportive, hard working, fun to ride with. A great contribution that has made the team stronger.
I am humbled -
@tim cronk apparently @matt limbert is not, and I don't hold a candle to his analytic abilities, his humble nature and his kindness on long bike rides in waiting for and pulling lesser athletes along. Thus, I nominate Matt!
also noticed that @Tim Sullivan is not, his anlytical nature, foray into and Zwift along with the knowledge base he has both developed and shared of all things Zwift, ultra and IPA, makes him a shoe in for this!
And confess I thought @matt limbert was WSM . A strong recommendation!
ditto to what @tim cronk said.
I thought @matt limbert was already WSM. so many great contributors!
Boy, this is tough. @Coach Patrick said to mention 2 names, but I have definitely benefitted a lot from knowledge shared by and help from @matt limbert @Derrek Sanks @scott dinhofer @Tim Sullivan and @Brian Hagan (even though no one else has mentioned him yet, he manages Zwift issues in group me like a ninja). So I'm not sure I can pick just 2 names at this time, but I also didn't want to avoid posting here and fail to recognize all the great contributions from these guys. Thanks guys!
All the names above are certainly WSM worthy for widely varying reasons.... @scott dinhofer @Tim Sullivan Also can't go wrong with @matt limbert @Derrek Sanks and @Peter Greagg
Last call for WSM nominations..just bumping this thread!!
~ Coach P
It would have been a travesty if this thread concluded without @Robert Sabo's name mentioned. Like Derrek, he's a no-brainer IMO.
