Did the L3 3 x 12' (3'). Thought those would be easier than the 2 x 20', but got ERG bit on the 3rd. Ran the brick run a little harder and came away feeling redeemed.
@PatKoss the 20 min intervals got me too. I called an audible and redid week 8 Tuesday's workout for 5 intervals of Zone 5. It went OK. I also figured out that part of the issue that I am having with ERG mode is that I had the power source set as my P1 Pedals and Zwift was set to the 3 sec average. So the trainer was trying to adjust ERG mode with a 3 sec delay. I switched the power source to the trainer and it works much better.
@Ralph Moore , when you set the P1's as the power source in Zwift, to what was the Kickr (assumption) set to refer as a power source? I've found that if I set an external source in Zwift, but don't match that source in the Kickr firmware then ERG problems ensue.
Its been a long time but there was a way in the Wahoo app to set the Kickr to listen to the ANT+ signal from the external power source as its reference, instead of the Kickr's own internal power measurement mechanism. When I set it up that way then ERG worked just fine with the external power standard. From that I discerned that ERG is carried out in the trainer, by the command of Zwift, and not by Zwift itself (e.g., Zwift commanding the trainer to maintain 250 watts, and not Zwift varying the trainer resistance to maintain 250 watts). Anyway, that made ERG work for me with my external Quarq on my road bike.
8 x 5' (1'). That is all.
@PatKoss thanks, I just found the place in the Wahoo app and my power meter was not set as the power source. I am adjusting it and I will let you know how it goes.
Anyways, this happened:
Well done @Ralph Moore !
