Kona Bike Rental
Greetings.
My wife and I are going on vacation about 20 miles north of Kona in a few months. I plan on doing a couple long rides on the bike course highway. Option 1 is to bring my own bike out. Or, does anyone recommend a bike shop in Kona or nearby that I can rent a decent bike at?

BikeWorks Kona. They are in Kona town - currently in an industrial park off the Queen K, but moving to “pay and save” plaza on Palani. It’s a GREAT shop. Book early.
There's also a Bikeworks in the Hilton Waikoloa Queens shopping center. Sounds like that may be closer to where you're staying. I've rented from them before and they're great. I sent them my fit coordinates beforehand, and they had a bike all set up and waiting for me. I was able to rent a helmet from them also.
