Endurance Nation once again takes the lead in educating athletes on how to have their personal best race - this month we head to IM St George!

Some races you just check the box. Some races are a mountain with a summit that's juuuuuuust out of reach. And then there are races where everything falls into place.
Sixteen years of coaching has shown me that fortune favors the prepared. Planning on "a long catered training day" isn't a plan, it's an expectation of an outcome. And if you don't have a plan, I can pretty much guarantee that you will 100% have a really long day.
When's the last time you finished a race with a smile on your face?
Not just a good time on the clock, but the internal knowledge that you had done your best. Faced every challenge. Answered each question. Handled every bump in the road.
These types of races are few and far between for a major reason - they only exist at the intersection of physical fitness and execution. You can do all the training you want, but fitness alone won't solve the challenge your next race holds for you.
