[EN] Focus on Daily Execution for Maximum Long Term Gains

Building athletic momentum isn’t something that is genetically gifted to others. We all have the ability to do the work.

The key isn’t knowing WHAT you need to do, but HOW you are going to do it. A plan is little more than letters and numbers scattered on a page. The action of doing the workout is what turns opportunity into reality.

But many athletes struggle with the daily practice of endurance. Big goals and big races take heroic sessions and often superhuman energy. But the elites are no more -- or less -- human than you and I. What sets the successful ones apart from the crowd?

Well for starters, these folks don’t consider themselves successful. That’s like asking a tree if it feels good about its year so far. That tree is just tree-ing, just like those athletes are just doing their thing. Day in, day out. Sunshine or rain. Good day or bad day. And slowly, imperceptibly, they change. Over time, that work accrues, turning ambition into a reality.

So the real question for you this winter is “Are you ready to grow?” Are you prepared to do the work...the daily work...that being an endurance athlete requires? There is no easy way, and there is no singular path that we all walk. Yet we are all walking a path, every day.

Right now it’s the postseason path. As you can see from the image above, even the latest Endurance Nation Zwift ride (https://endurancenation.us16.list-manage.com/track/click?u=54dc221df5218e0dafff46b51&id=0d2e938d33&e=46eef5a3a8) has what it takes to make you stronger.
