Another week and another example of the value that a Team brings to your training and racing experience(s). Remind me why you'd not want a Team again?
Our teammate Sabra, following in the footsteps of her Ultra-Crazy teammates, was in the middle of her first Ultra race ever. After weeks and weeks of training and quality weekends, things were getting real. Local Teammate and super sherpa Wendy Kelly is on hand to support.
As Sabra starts to suffer, Wendy reaches out to the Team for advice via the Ultra Chat channel. Cue your awesomeness taking over, giving advice and support. Sabra finished, earning a 3rd place OVERALL and showing that anything is possible when you put in the work.
Moments like these ^above^ are commonplace in any given Endurance Nation season, but they have been missing in 2020. Congratulations to Sabra (of course!) but thank you to all of you who helped make her achievement possible.
If you are out there training and working and grinding all on your own, you are missing out BIG time. If you don't like accountability, aren't concerned about making progress, and love to make the same mistake over and over again until you figure it out, then we are not the place for you.
