Here in The Pyranees, no longer at race weight. It's a zoo here. These people loves them some Tour Dee France. Met Andreas Klodens dad painting Go Klodi! on the road in front of his camper, saw Phil and Paul, got a Sociesque shot of Lance yesterday on the climb...say what you want, dude is a warrior.....Cav was barely getting over the top suffering like hell to finish, screamed at Jens again, lots of Basque here, Llamas wandering around, old guys on fixies doing the climb....

Expecting rain tomorrow and a crazy race with a finish at the top. Should be epic.

    Sounds like a lot of fun. I followed the race for 6 stages in 2004 or 5. Its something everyone should do. You just can't describe how crazy it is on the mountain. Its one giant party.

    Tru dat. I am so jealous. But, at least we'l see the whole race, not just 2 minutes of it.

    i had a paisley speedo and EN visor on and that was it.....felt strangely at home.......sorry fog obscured your views...fog was so thick u couldn't see 50 yards...Andy and AC came out of the mist to a roar....it was surreal.....Jens finished...what a tough dude...I was there for him...EN was there for him...just sayin'

    wish i could send pix but limited net access here in this mountain town.......

    You weren't near, or one of, the 4-5 guys in the Borat "speedo" where you? I would have fallen off my bike if I saw that along the rode.

    Seriously!!!  There were so many bare butts on TV yesterday I had to double check to be sure I didn't turn on HBO by mistake!  Chris- now I'm regretting deleting yesterdays race from the DVR.  I totally would have replayed as many times as possible to see you in that get up!

    I'm sure surreal and epic are exactly the right words. What an environment! I have no idea how those guys ride through that without flinching - I saw both AS and AC look back once or twice when they were bumped. You have to post the pics! Especially AS/AC and Jens!
