I'm impressed with the EN athletes
Reading the stuff that you guys write about juggling life to fit in your training is blowing me away! I realize that most people are working way harder at this than me. I teach at a college and I'm never in my office or a classroom past 12:15...and I don't work Fridays.
Needless to say, I can get to the pool when it's empty, ride when it's light out and with minimal traffic, and run in the heat of the day. Having three weeks off at Christmas and a Summer Break lasting from around May 13 - August 25 makes me an anomaly. I never worry about SAUs because I train when she's at work.
Bottom line...you guys impress me with your dedication and devotion to our sport. Reading your trials and tribulations keeps me from whining when I feel a bit tired or short on time. Thank you for keeping me honest!
Keep up the great work everyone!

I am an anomoly too, and I am thankful I made the leap every single day.
I dream about becoming an anomaly.
I'm part of the anomaly club. My DH and I are both triathletes---so no real SAU points to earn. Well, maybe on his part: Don't forget to hang dry the technical clothes and don't take the last gel/last scoop of Infinit without replacing it.
