The Ambassador / Mentor Program (NEW)
Folks -
As we begin to approach another season of triathlon training awesomeness, we are looking to formalize some of the super cool stuff that you already do for one another. We are hoping to create two new "volunteer" positions inside the Team to give those of you looking for a way to give back / pay-it-forward some direction. Some of you do this already informally, and we don't want to stand in your way, consider this recognition of your efforts.
Ideally people "serving" in either capacity will be listed in the EN Wiki so that other members can find them. You'd be given Wiki Permissions so you can turn your name on / off as you see fit.
EN Ambassador -- This person represents EN in their local community and online. This could be at local workouts, by organizing a training opportunity or a social event. We're not talking about prosletyzing, just saying the ideal person can talk about EN coherently without just shouting "WorkWORKS!" and flashing the gang sign. In addition, the coaches might ask Ambassdors to reach out to new members with a welcome message or phone call (optional). Interested? Email admin@endurancenation.us with "Ambassador" in the subject line.
EN Mentor -- This person is willing to be in a more formal relationship with another (newer) EN member. The relationship could be one question long, or it could last up to 8 weeks....there are are no time expectations. Both mentor and mentee should agree on the relationship; it will only work if both are a good fit. If so, the sky's the limit on how the two can work together. Perhaps it's getting to know the site, getting up to speed on race execution, or learning everything about power...whatever the topic, I hope we can find a mentor for you. Interested? Email admin@endurancenation.us with "Mentor" in the subject line.
Thanks again for all you do!

just saw the link to Mentors on the dashboard. When I click on my link, it brings up a rather boring profile. Any thoughts of expanding this to tell new members more about us? Template ideas? Maybe go to old posts that describe our EN experiences, how long we've been here. We should probably all put it in the same area. How about in the "Info" area? Maybe I can play with this and get your input on what I've done.
Thanks!
