Well water bacteria
At the urging of my wife, I got our well water tested by the University of Iowa hygenic lab. It came back positive for E. Coli, and coliform bacteria. I've drank this stuff since 2003 and never got it tested. The well digger guys said most likely due to a high water table as we've had tons of rain lately, they weren't too concerned about it.
I've since called the well dudes and got my well shocked, water now smells like a pool.
The question is does just drinking the water warrant a visit to the doc or a dose of antibiotics. I don't think I have any outward symptoms.
