EN does Tour of Colorado 2011?!?

Looks like the second cycling camp of the year, for 2011, for EN...ToCO(lorado) versus ToCA(lifornia).

Those with late season IMs can now benefit from a week-long cycling camp!

  • My husband is going to cut me off from EN one of these days.......
  • Yep

I was already planning to offer something in July or August in CO, this just makes it easier for us with routes, duplicate that camp-during-a-race vibe, etc. Logistically, ain't no way it can be harder than Cali so, yeah, it will happen!

En does this, and I'm in!

  • I am so here....I mean there! Having this in our back yard makes selling DH on ToC almost a non-starter, but he's already saying that we have to plan to take the whole week off that this race is going on.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Do a camp in Colorado!! PLEEEAAASE!!
  • I will help with any logistics you need!
  • So, let's see my potential 2011 calendar...
Mar: TX Hell Week (week-long cycling camp in Fredericksburg, I can work 4hrs/day to save vacation). Total: 2.5 days vacation
May: ToCA camp. Total 5 days vacation
July: Roth/TdF/Pamplona: Who knows how many days?!? Chris?!?
Sep: ToCO camp: Total 5 days vacation
Nov: IMAZ: Total 2 days vacation

I don't think I can afford anything more!!!
I only get 28 days of vacation (yes, that's a lot - after 12.5 years of seniority, but it never seems enough).
  • Man, I really need a road bike

I ride the mountains in CO 4 weeks a year just on my TT bike - descents are a little tricky, though. The climbs aren't really "steep",  just LOOOONG
