Weight in 8/25

So this is it for me my last weigh in.  I will keep the thread going but would ask if someone can post up a thread next week as I will be travelling after IMC and I'm pretty sure my wife would not approve posting on EN at 8 am from the bed and breakfast.  Time to earn SAU's for next year.

I have no scale so I'm going with 214 same as last week.

  • Thanks for doing all this, Gordon.

I hit 208.5 this morning.  Down 1.5 from last week.  So I am still making progress.  Sub-Clydesdale, here I come!

  • Yes thank you Gordon!! Esp with the taper- it's gonna be tough, but I'm holding race weight this week and getting on the scale today because it was Wednesday really helped!
  • Nice Work Gordon and have a great race at IMC!!!

My body may be trying to tell me something as I'm eating right but gaining weight. Probably just that I am deep into IM training and have a high level of fatigue so my body is holding onto extra water/food.

    I was 139 this morning.
  • 200.0

I am tempted to not eat anything today and run for a hour so I can weigh in under 200 tomorrow morning before I leave for Louisville!

Well, it is still down 45 pounds from the start of the training so I am pleased.  Feeling ready!

WOW_ you should be VERY pleased! That's just fantastic! You'll be under 200 when you cross that finish line on Sunday for sure!!!
  • You know it Nemo! I have weighed 197 after some hellaciously hot runs this month. The 200.0 is a fully hydrated weight!
  • still hovering around the 230 mark, down 35 ince December. Monday will be the 12 week mark for IMAZ, so I suspect a lot more will come off.

@Gordon, Thanks for keeping this going.

@Mark, good job and the hard work WILL pay off on Sunday!
  • It is really interesting to look at the table of all the folks who initially signed up with goal weights and progress reports. Most either didn't lose the weight or stopped reporting. I include myself in both of the categories. I am essentially still the same weight now as my original weigh in. I had envisioned weight loss primarily as a way to get faster and not because I felt I was "overweight". I seem to have a natural poundage that I stay at unless I work really hard to drop and suspect that is true for many on the list. You folks that have lost the weight, especially @Mark and @ Gordon, have really done a great job. I think we need to do this again this upcoming year and see what happens.
