IMWI Non-Racer/Spectator Schedules

I hope it's OK that I started a new thread in here, but I wanted to have a simple place where all of us non-racing spectators can view the weekend's plans all in one place.  After having reviewed many of the recent threads, this is what I have compiled for activities.  Please clarify times, days, locations, etc. if need be, fill in any blanks, and please add anything I may have missed.

  • Thursday - 6:30P - Dinner at Gray's Tied House
  • Friday - 8:00A - OWS with the Chicas - in the water 8:30
  • Friday - 10:00A - 4 Keys talk
  • Friday - ? time - Dinner/drinks meet-up - ? crashing Nemo/Joe party
  • Saturday - 9:00A? - 4.5 hour crushfest ride - ? meeting spot - Volunteer meeting at 8:00A
  • Saturday - ? time - Non-racer dinner at Brass Ring with maybe after dinner drinks at Great Dane
  • Sunday - 7:00A - Race start
  • Sunday - 7:15A - ABP or leisure ride with Matt (I mean following way behind Matt) +/- coaches out to Verona then backwards on course
  • Sunday - after ride - Spectate the rest of the race
  • Sunday - 10:00P - Post-race at Great Dane
  • Monday - 7:00A - Breakfast at location TBA

I am planning on probably being at all these things.  I may decide to swim after the 4 Keys talk, though.  Let me know if anyone would be interested in going after, or maybe earlier before the talk than 8:00.  That day's a great opportunity for me to get a long OWS in.  I think the chicas are planning 30 minutes.

I am really looking forward to this trip!    It's going to be great seeing everyone there.

Don't forget the MILE 18 party

So looking forward to all the ENers, led by Team Pink Speedo, cheering all the chicas through Mile 18. Love you guys!

  • Rich and Patrick may have to put up stadium seating at Mile 18 to hold all the EN members and families who will be there cheering.

Do you think WTC would have a problem with that ?

Considering the mankini's, I'm not sure Mile 18 will be a family friendly event.  image
