End of the season.. My gear is SHOT. Where are the best Deals?

So, I have been holding back on purchaseing any gear for awhile. I need stuff like bibs, cleats, ect. I hate paying full price for anything. What are your favoriate online shops?

  • For clothes, if you can wait until Nov and then you will see places like trisports.com, all3sports.com, tri-zone.com, nytro.com, etc put it on clearance as the 2011 stuff is coming in.

For bike parts/gear, i get a lot from performancebike or bike nashbar. They have good prices on the standard stuff (tubes, chains, etc) and always have 10-20% coupons.

I've also had really good luck with probikekit and wiggles both from the UK but for things like components and tires they are usually a good bit cheaper with no tax and free shipping.

I buy a bunch on ebay and slowtwitch as well.
  • PBK has Craft Elite bibs for 45 GBP.  Best bang for the buck for the 'superbib' class, imho.

What else, exactly, do you need?  (I'm the most frugal dude in the sport and have a running OCD ticker of where is selling what at which price.)

  • Doodes, I seriously should hire you as my personal cycling shoppers. Way to track down the bargains!

I'm a fan of realcyclist.com - you can even shop by percentage off. I get most of my jerseys there.
  • You know this, but do a Google search for your specific item and then click the shopping link at the top.  I have good luck getting the lowest price that way.

Personally, I like aebike.com.  Little ma and pa bike shop in Michigan and they seem to have competitive prices for what I need.  Great customer service.

  • tri-zone.com just send out a coupon for 20% off all 2010 clothing and they have free shipping and no tax as long as you don't live in california.
