Strange behavior on forerunner 310xt
I've used this for about 10 workouts, and it's worked fine so far - except for today. 1:14 run, which it recorded correctly in total - it also got the miles right, and the map is correct, so it knew where I was. But i Gramin training center the following things are wrong: - date is from the last run i did, it calculted times from 2 days ago until today. for example, HR is shown as 72bpm (about where i started) for 42 hours, then a jumble of ups and downs between 100-150bpm all bunched up at hour 53. Same for pace. In training peaks it looks a little different, but it's esentially the same - showing everything bunched up in hour 53. I think what happened is that it decided that I started at 2:00 on 9/8. Then it must have figured out the correct date right after i started and calculated everything as a single workout for 54 hours. If that's right, how do i keep if from happening? Thanks

I have never had that happen to me but, I have mine set to delete the workout on the 310 after it uploads. Did you upload it after your first run? If not, or if you are going to have multiple workouts before you upload it, you need to hold down the lap button for a few seconds it will start counting backwords from 3. Once it is done it will split out your workouts. Example when I do a ride workout I will hold down the lap button at the end then start my run workout. It will then seperate the workouts.
Also I personally leave autopause off as it can do some funky things at times.
I held the reset - the workout on the 8th was just fine. I'm wondering if I pressed the start button before it got a good lock on the sattelites, and used the old date as the starting time since it hadn't established the correct date - then jumped to the correct date and time once it got the right information from the sattelites.
