Join Now or Wait till October 1st

Is there any advantage to “joining now” (im currently a trial member) if im not going to start the plan until November? Or should I just wait till my trial membership rolls over on October 1st?

Thanks for the help!

  • Thought I'd jump in on your thread Ryan - hope you don't mind   I have a question along the same lines, but in relation to the offer price. Perhaps the coaches can kill two birds with one stone here?

I'm having a couple of weeks down time following IM Wisconsin (where I missed my Kona M45-49 qualification goal by a heart-breaking three minutes). I'm considering joining the Haus to try the EN approach for 2011 for which I'm currently thinking of targetting IM France on 26th June 2011.

The trial period will end when I would typically have several further weeks of off-season/unstructured training. I read in another thread that, with a June 2011 'A' race, the recommendation is to start an Outseason on 1st November. So I initially presumed that I would just cancel the trial and re-join EN towards the end of October. But then I would presumably lose the $99 offer and be re-joining at $129? If so, I suppose I'd be better off in the long term by signing up for $99 during October despite requiring no training plan for that month?

Also, how long should I allow the coaches to review my initial feedback form and set up my first plan prior to whatever Offseason start date I settle on?

    Thanks,

  • Ryan, I think Des answered your question about the benefit. $30 a month.

Des, sorry to hear about your just missing out on Kona. I would think you would want to join up now for the discount. Not really sure about this feedback form but I would assume once you join you would be in control of your training plan choices. As a member you would have access to all training plans which are located under the "Training" tab on the red menu bar. You could select a plan just to give yourself some ideas for training or just wait till October and jump into the OS with probably about 100 other folks. Hope that helps.
