IM Florida 2010 Accomodations
I know there are a ton of condos and resorts near the race site but I would like to ask for guidance from those who have done the race. Where did you stay? Where would you stay if you went again? Why?
Thanks in advance,
Bryan

I've stayed @ the summit x2. This year I paid 315 bucks for the condo for an entire week. 1 bedroom 2bathroom. King bed. It was next door to the finish line, had a hot tub pool, bar nothing special but I like it even though in 2004 I stayed @ front beach and it was nicer.
It might sound crazy (but since PCB does can do something like 300,000 extra people for the spring break) wait until at least October before booking anything. PCB is dead this time of year use something like VRBO.com and contact a private owner and shoot them an offer. I look at it like they can either take my offer or the units will sit vacant and they won't make any money.
There was this thread in 3.0 posted at the end of October. That should help you out! Makes me want to go back to PCB. Hard to believe, I know, but I do like that race.
@Linda, I like it too, then again I like the beach in November, I like tourist traps like the Wisconsin Dells, SD Black Hills, Myrtle Beach, Tybee Island etc. I like cheap nice condos. It is a fun race if you don't let what you can't control ruin it for ya. I think I just like vacation in general wherever it happens to be.
Another pretty awesome thing, Southwest is going to start flying to the new PCB airport (approx mile 95 of the bike course) this makes this race even more attractive.
