Recent Quarq purchasers

Looking for any recent Quarq purchases to see what the actual turn around time is.  Strongly considering purchasing one, but based on their website, looks like they have some backlog.  I have my A race of this season on 11/13 and wondering if I realistically expect to get it before then.

Currently using a wired PT, but would rather use race wheels instead of training wheel for the race.

Any insight is appreciated!

  • I got a 53/39 SRAM S975 in 2 weeks. May vary for other models.
  • Call Quarq directly, they have been VERY helpfull the few times I had questions. I would tell them when your race is and exactly what model you are looking for.
  • Thanks for the quick replies.  I will give them a call.  Problem is, I don't know for sure what to get?  I am new to EN but looks like compact is the recommended way to go??

  • yep compact, not as important @ IMFL but, assuming you want to race elsewhere someday get a compact they are versitile you'll have plenty o' gears
  • It took me almost two months to get my Quarq SRAM S975 but that was the beginning of the year when that crankset had just come out.
  • I ordered an SL K-Light Compact through Coach Rich on 8/13 and got it three weeks later.  Very easy set up and no issues.  I am using it for IMFL.
