Half Iron. Do before start of 12 week training for ImLou or during ? Or skip all together
I am starting a beginnner OS today. Goal is IM Louisville. Have done IM and half iron before but poorly
I have a charity olympic in March.
I was wondering whether it made more sense to do a half iron in May (before the start of the 12 week training block for IM Lou) or whether I should do a half iron in June or July (During the 12 week block leading up to IM)?
A secondary question is whether the half iron will help that much or should I skip it and just keep training?

I think as long as you don't schedule it too close to IMLou, you'll be fine. You might cross post this to the Macro Thread to make sure Rich or Patrick see it.
