Changing days on the weekly schedule

It would be nice if we could manipulate our weekly schedule to fit our schedule and have it reflected on our daily dashboard... so that if instead of a day off on monday if I have to do a bike I can move the workout to monday on my training page and thus have it reflect on My dashboard.....

  • Brian, I hear you on that functionality. We made a decision several years ago to not pursue a "fully functional" platform as you see on, say, Training Peaks. The cost and time involved being entirely prohibitive to our bootstrapped company. At some point in the future, our revenue and the technology/time required could intersect and lead to this change, but in the meantime we feel our investments are better spent on the community / learning side of the EN experience. We read all the notes though and save them for the future....
  • Brian-

My "hack" on this is to copy/paste the workouts to a "calendar" or "category" or whatever on my regular calendar program each week. Doesn't take more than 5 minutes to do. I happen to use iCal, but Outlook or whatever should be similar. Then you can switch whatever you need around

The added benefit of doing it this way is that I can change and/or copy the category/calendar to one that syncs with my family's calendar in case they need to know I'm tied up with a workout at a particular time, like a Saturday morning or some evening or whatever.

  • What WJ said -- simple, easy to implement, and all you. The alternative starts us down a slippery slope of whizzbang feature creep that never ends vs...coaching you. We can either spend $$$$$ and resources to create stuff so you don't have to cut and paste, or use a pencil to move Tuesday to Thursday, or we can instead actually coach you by creating coachy stuff, going to races, etc.
