Hip Flexors popping with Core work
I've been doing the core routines from the wiki (thanks Leigh!) and they are awesome. But I notice when I do any sort of "crunches" ab kinda thing, I get a bit of a pop or hiccup in my hip flexors. This especially occurs when I'm doing something like the "Froggies" or other leg raise/lower routine. It doesn't hurt, but I'm wondering if I'm either doing something wrong or if I might be damaging something that could turn into problems later.
Wasn't sure this was really a "Medical" question so I've left it out here in the General Training area. Anyone know what this little pop noise is and if it's something to be concerned with?

I'm another one with the popping, especially on my left. My chiro/ART said same thing as Patrick.
I'm another that needs to really be rolling/stretching etc EVERYWHERE. The roller/grid is will go from being my enemy to my bff
the only time you really have to worry about it is if you start to get irritation or discomfort there. With the friction of stuff moving, sometimes it can get inflamed. Either way, probably time to start working on those hip flexors a bit more!!!
Just rolling and stretching will do that? Anything MORE effective than others?
