IM Foundation spots selling out

FYI to all the procrastinators in the Haus.  I've learned the hard way that the IM foundation spots are going quickly.  I was hoping to sign up for IM LP but it sold out 2 weeks ago!!  I was away from Iron distance racing last year, but don't recall Foundations spots selling out so quickly in 2009.  Lost my Mojo for about 12 hrs, then decided to sign up for IM Wisconsin.  Substituted the Mojo for some MOOjo.  I've just extended my season by 6 weeks!  The folks at the Foundation say these spots are going fast too.

  • Chris- don't worry, we're going to have such a huge presence at IMoo that you'll be glad the universe pulled this little trick on you!

But thanks for the heads up! My head is still spinning around the fact that Boston closed in a day! WTF!?
  • Yeah, and I complained about the high prices of the regular registration!
  • Boston in a day is crazy. Sign of the times we live in. Who wants to start another alternate race?

I heard that they have a marathon in RI the day before Boston, as a direct competitor - and for that exact purpose.

  • Coach P - are you running Boston? Did you get in?
  • I am in for Boston for sure. Note the other reason community slots are selling out is the Ironman Access program. image

Geeee, ya just gotta wonder if it's the same number of Community Fund slots in the pool anymore.

  • On Boston and Foundation slots, my brother was so bummed he got closed out of Boston that he signed up for a Foundation spot at IMCDA - so those were available as of last weekend.....
