Weigh in 10/27

So it's week 4 for the October OS and the November OS is just around the corner.  How was the weight loss this week?

I was steady this week at 229.  Here's the spreadsheet:

  • Gordon- thanks for keeping us honest! I totally forgot to weigh in this morning (maybe that was a subconcious as I'm sure I'm not gonna be happy when I see what pops up). I'll do the weigh in tomorrow morning. Thanks for the kick in the pants!
  • Held steady last week and this week down .6 lbs. to 202.5!  I am 2.6 lbs. away to being sub-Clydesdale!    My clothes are actually baggie on me and I am considering ordering medium size run shorts as my large size creep down on me when I run.    Good problem to have!  

  • Only down 0.5 lbs this week, again I'm not sure where the disconnect is happening for sure - although this week I did go off the deep end on Sunday with the fiancee, so maybe that was the problem.  Sometimes I wonder though if our (or at least my) bodies do go through some kind of hibernation preparation phase as winter approaches.  I was really hoping to see the end of the 170's this month, but looks like that might have to wait a few more weeks at this pace.

  • The trip my wife and I took to NYC this past long weekend is still with me. Up 3 lbs. having lost 2 before the trip. Rats!!!
  • This was not a good week for me discipline-wise. Wife was gone most of the time, which meant too many put-together-quick meals with the kids that tend to be tasty and amenable to eating too much (there's enough beans and tomatoes, etc for another burrito....), in addition to promised ice cream and pizza celebrations for kids. (OK, I know that's not the greatest habit... but it's not a common thing, and they're pretty fit kids!)

    UP 1 for the week. grrr. but I deserved it.
  • Back down to race weight goal, but Epcot Wine & Food Festival next week. Will hopefully not gain too much so last 2 weeks before IMAZ won't be in diet mode.
  • Have creeped 2 lbs above race weight. Darn candy!
  • Phew! OK, down a pound. Still up from race weight, but I'm within a comfy "winter weight" range. I thought it would be much worse. I'm soooooo thankful at this time of year to work from home. No office candy jar to avoid!
  • If the office candy jar were my only vice I'd be good. I'm lucky that I DON'T work at home, where there's a whole pantry full of food, to say nothing of the fridge! :-)

    I am being a Very Good Boy, and keeping the Halloween candy in the bags. Had to buy enough for ~75 kids to come to the door, which makes it a pile easy enough to sneak a few from. :-)
