Finding your HIM/IM Distance race

With the recent flurry of discussion over WTC vs Independent races, I thought I'd share this resource with folks in case you haven't run into it before.  It's a great website that lists nearly all the IM Distance races (WTC and Indy) as well as many of the HIM distance races.  It's great for trying to find the "perfect" race for your schedule.

Enjoy.

  • thanks for sharing Nemo!
  • Great resource but incomplete list of independents. Just off the top of my head I didn't see the Gator Half, Gulf Coast Tri, Rock and Roll Half, and Atomic Half on the K113 tab. Check www.trimapper.com for another listing and map of where these all are. You can filter the map by months, by race distance, etc.
  •  Thanks so much Nemo! Was just looking for something like this

  •  Yup Paul, when it comes to finding Halfs, it's really hard to find one site that has a list of them all.  So many local races get overlooked (like my own OBX Half).  The k226 Site is pretty good for searching for full IM distance races , but when it comes to HIM races it pays to "shop around".  Here's yet another site:

  • These sites would be great as a resource in the wiki....
  • Shouldn't/wouldn't USAT have something for all the races registered?

Done!  Feel free to add more as you find them!

Scott- USAT would be a logical source (although won't have races outside the US).  But I've found their site extremely annoying to use!

  • Nice! Thanks Nemo image
