Early Morning Running Intervals and Injury
I've heard that doing any sort of speed work or intervals in the morning has been shown to dramatically increase the chance of injury. My current schedule has me doing all of my weekday training early in the morning before work. Should I be trying to schedule my run training for the evenings instead?

Not sure where you heard that but I'm skeptical, especially of there being a "dramatic" increase in risk.
Never heard of that before. As long as you're properly warmed up, you should be fine.... if you think about it, how many races (especially road) don't start in the mornings? Nothing like starting your day with those endorphins in high gear!
I read it in a few different pubs, but would not call it a dramatical increase. You do have to account for colder temps, muscles being cool from inactivity over night, less blood circulation and such. All addressed with a gradual deep warm up and gentle stretching just prior to start of intervals. Gradually work it in and you will be ok.
Not sure if it is actually on topic but I have always found that I can push a bit harder in the afternoon evening than in the early am [which is when I do 90% or my workouts] but that my RPE for comparable paces/power is always higher the later in the day.
