Weigh in 11/10

Hopefully everyone has recovered from Halloween and removed or eaten all of the nutrition distractions.

I'm down 1lbs to 228.

Here's the spreadsheet.

  • ooooops, forgot! I'll do it tomorrow.
  • I'm down 2 # this week, however I think it's fluid loss rather than fat mass loss since I've been sick for almost 8 days now.  Negative side: few work outs.  Positive side: no appetite, so not filling up my belly while feeling horrible.  Managed to get a run in on Monday prior to the latest shoe to drop, will have to run on the treadmill this evening if I want to run since I can't wear contacts for several days, I'm too blind to run without corrective lenses outside, and my glasses won't stay on when running.  I'm so freaking bummed that I'm missing some great outdoor fall running weather, but once again I'm very happy that Jenn and I decided to purchase the treadmill this past spring (after Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse, Snowtorious B.I.G.).  Anti-biotics seem to be helping the other illness, so I'm hopeful that while I won't be where I was hoping to be for the B2B full relay (run portion) this weekend, I'll at least be able to stumble through it credibly.

With Thanksgiving coming up, the goal for the rest of the month is to stay on track, stay disciplined, keep tracking everything on LoseIt and aim to go sub 170 by the end of the month -- legitimately, not just because I've been sick.  In the past I've managed a good 6-10 weeks of work in the fall before falling off the wagon in late Nov and Dec.  So my goal is to make this fall, early winter different and actually stay on track with nutrition and consistent workouts.

  • I'm way up to the highest I have seen in well over 18 months, 149 lbs ... I didn't eat bad so I'm guessing my body is just in shock from the sudden marathon after no long runs in a while. Plus I feel like crap which I'm sure isn't helping things.
  • I had a better week this week. Just felt better about things and dropped pound. Hopefully starting to re-form the better habits.
  • Well down 2.4 pounds for the week but gained 5+ pounds after the marathon. So still up a little overall. Stage but have noticed that after a long run (>3 hr) I will gain and hold 5-6 pounds for 7-10 days. I've yet to figure a reason why.
  • I love vacation, but hate vacation. Up more than I would like.
  • I hope you don't mind, but I joined in the fun as well
  • IN!

Monday was my first day back on LoseIt....though I didn't log anything yesterday but I promise I was good. Just too busy.

Anyway, I think I race Everest Challenge at about 159-160lb. I knew I wasn't at my goal weight so I didn't want to look at the scale to have that in my head. That was Sept 25-26. I've been training very inconsistently at all since, haven't watched what I ate, etc. Weighed myself on Monday and was surprised to see 166.5lb, was expecting worse.

165.5 today. Goal is 152lb and 1lb lose per week. With the holidays I should be there by early March.

  • back up 1 lb. Not gonna sweat it- just have to be careful over the holidays. I'm gonna try tracking with "MyFitness" on the Droid to keep me on track.
  • up a couple pounds over the last few weeks. Gotta get focused and get through Thanksgiving unscathed...
  • I have decided to embrace my desire to eat cake and candy, mainly chocolate. Thus, I am up almost 2 lbs. Announced to DH that I "plan to get fat". He has agreed to buy me a mumu. Everyone else just rolls their eyes.
  • I'm still about 205lbs with mid-12% BF. Can't seem to shake it off. I think Starkman is gonna beat me to sub-200!!! NOOOOO!!!!
  • Holding right at race weight this week.
