Technical difficulties with Season Planning Toolkit

Ugh, it appears I am having nothing but technical difficulties these. Okay, so I opended up the Season Planning Toolkit and it is only allowing me to see the document, but not be able to modify the document. I think it has something to do with the fact that I run off Microsoft Works, not Microsoft Office - would that be the reason? and..... if so, how can I rectify this situation. Did I say ugh?????

    Okay, so I bought the software necessary to run this program, but when I enter todays date and my A race it does not give me any dates???? My A race is not until Sept 2011. Not sure if this is the reason?
