I have the conti, but they look the same. When I used it, I loved it. It was a pain to put on and take off, but I bought a beater wheel from performance bike and left it on that.
Yes, they're usually grippier like Beth said. I think most of the sounds come from the drainer itself, not the tire contact.
My biggest problem is that my Conti tire is producing a major amount of orange speckles/shreds all over my floor and bike frame. Looks like tire pollen!

Ha, I had this same problem last year. Even funnier when my dog would walk past the back of the trainer...lots of orange speckles! Eventually it just seemed to stop, don't know why it does that.
I have the yellow trainer tire and have used it for at least three years now with little wear and no problems. And the one thing I really like is no more tire dust.
Miniscule. Although, I agree with fewer squeaks. It is a little . . . grippier.
I use this tire too; and Beth has it right, this indoor tire is grippier (i.e. - I noticed a lot less "slipping" of this tire on the trainer versus using a regular outside tire). I don't think I had any trouble with tire dust though...the regular outside one left a black dust streak on the wall, but nothing from this tire for me anyway.
I bought it at REI last winter...it was a little difficult for me to get on the wheel the first time (ok, a LOT difficult) but I am guessing that's because it was new.

Thanks, one more question is it quieter than the regular tires on it?
