REV3 Cedar Point

I emailed REV3 about a week ago asking when the registration rates are going up for the half-rev at Cedar Point (Sept 11, 2011).  I just got back this response :

---

Rates do go to $260 tomorrow (Dec 1st), it is a cheaper price right now at $225 for USAT members, and $235 for non USAT. The final price increase will remain at $260 starting tomorrow!

---

If you're looking to register and want to save a couple of bucks, better get it done today.

cheers - mark

  • Mark,

keep in mind that EN has a discount code for the Rev3 races!

    Look here: members.endurancenation.us/Communit...aspx#58142

  • @Mark - I should have poked around more in the forums and I would have found this thread image  I am almost ready to commit to CP full in 2011.   I *think* I almost have spousal support for the race ....

@Scott - thanks for the discount codes!

  • @John - I'm signed up for the half. It'll be my second half, my first being in June. I got support right away for this one - my wife and kids will spend the day at Cedar Point and I'll meet up with them after the race. It's about a 3 hour drive for me which also makes it really easy.

    cheers - mark
  • I can't find an EN discount in that thread?!?

I can't find an EN discount in that thread?!?

It's on the 2nd page in the thread - From Patrick :

Rev3 Codes for any Rev3 event in 2011. These codes should only be distributed within EN. Good for $15, $25, and $35 off the respective distances. Registration must be completed on Active.com and the code entered during the checkout process.

  • Mark - thanks for that.
  • Has anyone done the full distance at Cedar Point before? How does it compare to an Ironman event...
    Is it worth it?
  • My buddy did the full Rev in Cedar Point last year. Said the race logistics and support were great...on par with the WTC events he's done. I know REV focuses on making the events more family friendly and he said that was very apparent, but in terms of the venue as well as how the race is run.
