Tech Issue with Powertap and WHO+
Hi folks!
So, I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and WKO+ 3.0.
I run Win7 using Parallels with a Mac.
The Device Agent only sees the Printer Port. No USB selection. Do I need to download drivers for the powertap? When I look at the USB Port in my Device Manager it recognizes the PT but says no drivers are found. When I go to Saris website...no sign of a driver download.
Any ideas?
Thanks as always,
JC

I don't recall any specific driver needed for the PT USB connection. Perhaps there is a small install on the PT CD shipped with the unit but I would expect that you can associate the USB port with the generic windows USB driver and all would work correctly.
You can plug in the USB port and select "Add new hardware" to see if that is detected but I'm not positive how parallels and a Mac operate....worth a try.
Good luck.

You may already have done this, but ... when windows is running, go to the Parallells menu item (you can't be in "fullscreen mode, or you won't see it) called "Devices" at the top of the screen. Choose "USB > Configure ...". There may be a solution if youplay around there.
Great ideas by everyone. No luck. Did just about everythinhg. I will wait to get some phone support tomorrow. I will return with the solution (I Hope). Many thanks to you once again

Problem solved. Looks like when you upgrade to WIN 7 and WKO 3.0 you must download POWER AGENT from SARIS as there is a driver for the PT in that DL. The driver for whatever reason was not downloading from Saris site. Called them today, they emailed me the driver....I installed and I am ready to rock!
Many thanks to my EN friends who ALWAYS come to the rescue.
